 Thank you Applebee's!

Our friends at both the Schenectady and Latham Applebee's are helping homeless pets at the APF by raising money through various activities like dress-down Fridays by the employees and collecting supply donations off our wish list. There is a friendly competition going on between the restaurants over who can raise the most!

The Schenectady location is hosting a Silent Auction to benefit the APF on Saturday, August 7 at 9 pm in conjunction with their Hot Summer Nights party.
Along with food and drink specials, you'll have a chance to bid on several great items, such as gift cards to local restaurants and great raffle baskets.

Please support these wonderful restaurants that are making a difference in the lives of homeless pets - thank you Applebee's!

Applebee's in Latham is located at 555 Troy-Schenectady Road
Applebee's in Schenectady is located at 2400 Cambridge Road

This program is being put on by the Schenectady County Public Library, along with partner organizations, the APF, Ellis Rehabilitation Center, The Open Door, The Community Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association and Proctor's.

It makes things a lot faster and easier if you can do the following. If you can't, we will still take them anyway!

> separate cans, glass, and plastic into different clear bags
> recyclable water bottles have to be separate
> put items in clear plastic bags and write on outside the number
   of cans or bottles within

THANKS!
