Meet Stephanie Johnson, Chief Operating Officer at the Animal Protective Foundation. Stephanie has been with the APF for 16 years and we are incredibly thankful to have her on our team!
Tell us what you do here at the APF: I oversee the operations of our shelter, spay/neuter clinic and community wellness clinics. I am dedicated to ensuring that our team provides all animals and clients the compassion, care and attention they each deserve.
What do you enjoy most about working at the APF? The incredible team of people I work with. We have a great group of dedicated hard working individuals that go above and beyond to help the animals and community members.
Tell us about something you accomplished here at the APF that you are particularly proud of: In 2023 I received my Certificate in Animal Welfare Administration. This is currently the only leadership credential in the animal welfare profession.
Do you have any pets at home? I have a senior pit mix named Victor, an American Eskimo/pit mix named Max and a senior DSH cat named Hope - all rescued from the APF.
What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time I love staying active, going on outdoor adventures with my husband and son. I enjoy reading and watching true crime TV.
