Our pets are a valued part of our family, and when our journey with them comes to an end, the APF knows how important it is to trust the place you turn to for end of life pet services. We are here to offer affordable, quality services to our community members. Following are the current services we provide

Euthanasia

Compassionate and Humane Care for Your Pet

The APF understands the emotional weight of deciding that a beloved pet may need humane euthanasia. If you’re considering our affordable end-of-life services, please call us at (518) 374-3944 ext. 101. Our team will answer any questions you may have and guide you through the process, ensuring you and your pet receive respectful and caring support.

  • Appointments Required: Humane euthanasia is available by appointment only. Please note that, for procedural reasons, pet owners are not able to stay with their pet during the process.

  • Emergency Situations: If your pet requires immediate care, please take them to a local Emergency Animal Hospital.

  • Consultation with Your Veterinarian: We recommend discussing your pet’s health, age, and prognosis with your veterinarian before making an appointment for humane euthanasia.

Respectful Cremation Options

The APF offers private and group cremation services, working with Faithful Companions Pet Cemeteries & Crematories to provide compassionate care for your pet’s remains. Choose from the following packages and add-ons to honor your pet’s memory.

Additional Keepsake Options:

  • The Rainbow Package: $80
    Includes an urn with a certificate of cremation, personalized paw print with display easel, nose print, fur clipping envelope, memory candle, pocket hug, rainbow bridge poem, and a packet of wildflower seeds.
  • Personalized Clay Paw Print: $30
